Over the next couple decades, the tree grew over a hundred feet tall, taller than any other tree in their area. Clodia climbed the ladder of tree responsibilities until she found herself situated on the highest leaf of the highest branch, with a clear view of the starry sky every night. This was as close to her goal as Clodia had ever been.
